Application for Erasmus and Study Abroad Students

This section is designed to help you through our application process, providing you with all the advice and guidance you need to make an application. When you apply you need to follow a few steps:

  • Fill in application form online, upload photo in jpeg-format (max. size 2 MB), save and print application form
  • Sign application form
  • Print course catalogue and tick relevant boxes. Please note: it is not possible to combine courses from different programmes
  • Send the documents listed below (in this order and as ONE PDF file) by email to: [email protected]


(1) Printed and signed application form

(2) Nomination Letter issued by your home university, signed and stamped by your home coordinator

(3) Copy of your ID-card / passport

(4) Printed course catalogue with your course selection

(5) Your recent “Transcript of Records” in English language

(6) If you are participating in the “Regular Studies”: Confirmation of German language proficiency (at least level B2 according to the Common European Framework of References and Language)

Please note that all students who would like to enroll at a German university need proof of a valid Health Insurance, e.g. European Health Insurance Card. Students from outside the EU are advised to either take out a health insurance with one of the statutory health insurance providers (approx. 80 Euros per months) or with one of the German private health insurance providers (approx. 35 Euros per months but not all costs will be covered). Please note: Your application will not be processed until we receive all required documents by email. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted!
